Improving English

English still continues to remain being the most commonly speaking language. Most employers want employees having the ability to speak English fluently in order to be successful in dog-eat-dog world. Due to this reason, many people want to improve their English. There are some steps to be followed for developing the ability for speaking English.
To begin with, a person who wants to improve her/his speaking should read a book in the original language but as a first step, s/he should read that book in her/his native language in order to know the topic beforehand. Thus, s/he can improve her/his vocabulary by guessing the words because being familiar with the subject will help her/him. Because of the importance of knowing vocabulary for expression, it will be beneficial for the speaking.
In addition to reading books in the original language, going abroad and staying there for at least a month are the undeniable facts that develop speaking ability. Interacting with natives will be helpful for pronunciation because nobody can speak as correctly as a native. Listening to the natives’ speeches and also by speaking with them at the same time certainly improve a person’s English in terms of speaking.
As a last step, watching films in the original language is highly significant to develop the skill for speaking English. Watching a series consistently will help a person to improve her/his English. Thus, s/he will learn English without having to study it. The series or films should be watched without subtitles. The more they are watched, the more they become understandable.
To conclude, enhancing the vocabulary by reading books, being abroad to speak with natives and watching films without subtitles are the basic steps that can be followed to speak English fluently.  I believe that a person can speak his/her English by doing these things. It will take time but time is the best key for eveything.

Observation in English Literature

The lesson that I observed was English Literature. Although there were thirty chairs, only half of them were occupied, that is, there were 15 students during the lesson. There were a overhead projector and  a projection, however, these technological devices were not used. In addition to this, there was Atatürk’s picture over the board. The color of classroom was soft blue which was like white. The teacher was also wearing a blue t-shirt and a jean. Her voice was not loud and she did not increase her voice during the lesson. In the lesson, she wanted us to read Pamela’s Letters and she also wanted us to take notes while reading. After reading them, we expressed our thoughts about Pamela’s lifestyle. She distributed papers for each of us and we wrote a letter to Pamela. Then some of us read loudly our letters to our classmates.  After finishing reading the letters, she let us go.

One of Wlliam Hogarth's Pictures' Description

This picture takes place in a palace’s saloon whose walls are painted griffles and gypseries. The palace seems to belong to the period of 1600s and 1700s when the painting was drawn because there are also war pictures which is the symbol of victories on the walls. There is also a fireplace and a sculpture sited on the fireplace. This is an important detail because I can understand that sculpture is not prohibited in that period, that is, people are free to indicate their considerations without the pressure of church. The ceiling of the saloon has curvings and ornaments which make saloon more imposing. There is also a huge luster hanging from the ceiling. In addition to that, twenty four people take place in this picture. All these people are wearing elegant and elaborete dresses. There are small groups talking with each others. All these people seem to wait for a person’s coming such as the King of their country. There are also  two impalas standing in front of the people. I can say that animals are protected and they have a value even among the elegant people. As a conclusion, I can say that this is the picture of pleasure, luxury and joy during the 1600s and 1700s.

Parallel Universe
Dr Bishop was a scientist who was closely related with the recent developments of the science. He was the founder of Massive Dynamic which was the most powerful company in the USA. His life was not ordinary, he always made experiments on children to gain them specific abilities. However, nobody except his collegues knew these experiments even his wife, Lisa, and his son. His wife just knew that Dr Bishop tried to save their son’s life because their son, Peter, was on his deathbed.
One day, Dr Bishop left home at an early hours of the day which was not odd. Lisa woke up and went to kitchen to prepare breakfast for Peter. After preparing it, she took it to Peter. As soon as she entered the Peter’s room, she came across with the ugly truth. Peter was dead on his bed. Lisa was shocked and immediately called her husband. Dr Bishop came home and took Peter to the hospital. Peter was buried one day later.
Dr Bishop and Lisa were so sad and Dr Bishop could not stand his child’s loss. For this reason, he dedicated himself to his work and made experiments day and night. After hard workings, he discovered parallel universe. In that universe every individial was same with the real universe, only difference was the differences of the characteristic features. Thanks to a mirror, he could see the other universe. Then Dr Bishop used experimented children to transit the other universe for taking other universe’s Peter.
The transition to the parallel universe would be realize thanks to Serena who was one of the experimented children. Ability to make depolymerization between two universes, Serena could successfully transmit the other universe with Dr Bishop. When Dr Bishop went his home, Lisa, who was other universe’s, could not understand anything odd. Dr Bishop took Peter and went off the home. They could transmit their universe with the help of Serena again.
Peter could not understand what was happening, however he was believed that he belonged to this universe not paralled universe. After a while, disasters began. The reason why disasterous events was happening was that the harmony between two universes was destroyed. Dr Bishop and his collegues tried to stop these events and save both their universe and the other universe but Dr Bishop’s selfishness caused to destroy both two universes.
